Steven Just, Ed.D. – Chief Learning Officer
Steven is the Chief Learning Officer of Intela Learning. Previously he was the founder and CEO of Pedagogue Solutions, the premier assessment management system company. After 25 years of growing Pedagogue into the industry leader, Dr. Just sold Pedagogue to Saba, where he helped unify Pedagogue into the Saba Talent Management system and advised on assessment and learning strategy.
After leaving Saba, and prior to co-founding Intela Learning, he founded Princeton Metrics a learning and assessment consulting company. At Princeton Metrics he worked with multiple companies helping them to ensure that their assessments were fair, valid and reliable. He also taught two popular workshops: “The Science of Learning” and “The Science of Assessment.”
Dr. Just has a master’s degree in computer science, a doctorate in educational psychology and over 25 years’ experience working with the world’s leading companies helping them to create learning and assessment strategies based on the latest research in cognitive science. Earlier in his career he worked at Bell Labs where he did research on computer applications in learning and assessment.
He has taught hundreds of workshops and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences. He is a regular contributor to Focus, the professional magazine of the Life Science Trainers and Educators Network (LTEN), and is a member of the LTEN Editorial Advisory Board.
Bob Christensen - Chief Technology Officer
With nearly 30 years of experience developing professional eLearning programs, Bob’s proven skillset and desire to leverage technology for the sake of learning has helped him as he’s guided the team responsible for developing Intela™.
Prior to creating Intela™, Bob engineered NXLevel Solutions’ leadership in interactive learning technology and guided the company and its clients through the myriad of technological changes that have occurred during the past 20 years. He oversaw the technical development of the major online projects developed by the company and worked closely with the company’s clients to ensure business goals were met. Bob’s experience creating technology-based learning products includes being the chief architect on NXLevel Solutions’ unique authoring tool, i-prism Course Builder™ and NXLevel’s Learning Management System, i-prism EZ-LMS™.
Bob understands the technical, creative and instructional design considerations involved with digital learning products and also the business environment in which the products must function and the goals each learning initiative must achieve. This high-level perspective translates into learning experiences that are tailored to the needs of today’s learners.
Bob is a member of ATD, eLearning Guild, and other industry-related technical organizations.
Peter Sandford – Director of Business Development and Client Relationships
Pete’s professional career in learning development dates back over 25 years. Before co-founding the company that evolved into NXLevel Solutions in 1988, Pete worked for a variety of educational production facilities and media companies.
Pete’s first experience in technology-based learning came in 1989 when he led the effort to develop an interactive electronic program for an international financial organization. Since then, he and the award-winning development team at NXLevel have created numerous learning and informational programs that leverage technology to deliver information to many different healthcare audiences—patients, physicians, pharmaceutical sales representatives, researchers and other specialized healthcare professionals.
In his role at Intela Learning, Pete works with clients to create and enhance learning development and delivery strategies that help organizations achieve their learning and business objectives.
Pete has been published in a number of industry journals and has spoken extensively on the topic of effective and engaging training for the life sciences industry. He has also teamed with client-based leaders to lead several workshops on proven compliance training techniques and learning formats.
